What’s better for a family game guitar hero 5 or rock band 2 for wii?

Im trying to find a game i can play on parties with my family but i have seen online that guitar hero 5 has a lot more modes that are fun but have a band music selection and i like rock band 2’s music list but i don’t know if rock band 2 for wii is as good as on other consoles.

It really depends on what you’re looking for in a game. They both have great graphics/animations (even on Wii!), but they each have pros and cons.

GH5 has a lot of modes, but the song selection is….meh.

Rock Band 2 doesn’t have as many modes, but what is there is very deep and entertaining. It will also have about 1000 songs to choose from by the end of the year.

I prefer RB, but you should probably go with Guitar Hero if you don’t plan on buying new songs.
