Video Game Review – Killzone 2 (PS3)
This game is simply amazing and unlike what most reviews say, the storyline is not bad at all, its detailed and full of action. The graphics is fantastic and one of the most beautiful I’ve seen in a video game. Only Uncharted 2 has better graphics.
The controls are difficult to get used to at first, but once you get the hang of it, they will be smooth as a baby’s bottom. You will quickly because you probably won’t be able to pull away from the game.
The AI is simply the best I’ve seen in any video game, the enemies will duck and cover, split up and flank you. Basically, they will do everything strategically to kill you. They won’t come at you in waves, they plan their attack carefully.
The AI also allows planning your attacks in advance and flanking the enemy. This is not possible in most FPS and gives the game a great twist.
This game has one of the most impressive graphics I’ve ever seen. The environment is so dark yet beautiful, but that’s the theme of the game. Explosions look so real and character faces are extremely well made. As I said before, only one other game has better graphics in my opinion and that is Uncharted 2: Amongst Thieves.
The game offers an online mode. Although I’m not a big fan of online gameplay I did enjoy playing Killzone 2 online. It has a lot of action and explosions.
Overall, this is one of the best games I’ve played on the PS3, and by far the best FPS on this console.
It’s packed with action and gunfire at every corner and I recommend it to every all FPS fans out there.
This game is a definite console seller and I rate it 8.5 out of 10.
